Authentic Newari food
Newari food is the traditional cuisine of the indigenous Newar people of the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. It is highly celebrated for its bold flavors, extensive use of spices, and diverse fermented and roasted meat preparations (especially buffalo). The cuisine often pairs hearty snacks with locally brewed rice wine, known as Aila.
